Allison's Baptism
Last weekend we drove up to Marietta for Allison's Baptism. The six hour car ride was more like an eight hour ride and every bit as complicated as you would expect from a road trip with a two month old and a twenty month old. We survived and managed to get some more great pictures for the blog. Jessica loves having Allison right next to her in the car. She shares her stuffed animals and her bottles. Jess was in a snuggly mood so she held Alli's hand for a bit.
When we got to Georgia the whole Haggerty crew was there to celebrate Allison's baptism. Incredibly, all the great grandchildren sat still and yelled cheese for a priceless photo opp with Great Grandma Gerken.
Martha made Joe's favorite meal, butterfly porkchops, and still managed to find time to hold Allison.
Lady wasn't the only one who got a chance to hold the guest of honor.
Jessica saw Great Grandma Gerken holding Allison and decided that she needed a turn too.
Lookout Jessica, there's competition for cousin Nathan's affection!
Allison was excited to get baptized and be the center of attention.

But, after the pastor accidently got some water in her eyes, she screamed like it was the most horrible thing in the world. (You can see the worried look on Joe's face and Nathan holding his worried little hand on his head too.) The rest of the congregation was laughing.
Nathan comforted Alli and held her while she slept for the rest of the service.
Here's a family shot with the pastor.

Allison's 2 month Well Baby Visit
Today is my 31st birthday. But, a more exciting announcement is: It's Allison's 2 month birthday! We spent the morning at the Pediatrician's office getting Alli's checkup and shots.
Allison is 13lb 8oz, 59cm (23.2"). She is 100% in weight and 98% in length. The Pediatrician said she is perfect and was impressed with her strength and development. Here are a few shots of us waiting for the doctor. Just goofing off as usual.

Smiles and Giggles
I've managed to capture some pretty adorable moments even though I haven't been feeling well. These little girls have a way of making me forget that I'm sick. Here's a moment when Jess climbed up on the couch next to Alli and I got a blanket and snuggled them up together. They thought it was pretty neat. Alli even started giggling, she loves her big sister.
Jessica put stickers on all of our noses and I made Joe snap a quick picture. Alli tried to eat her sticker.
Here's a couple pictures to show off Alli's chubby little body.

Good Blog Material
When ever one of the girls does something cute or funny me or Joe always say "Oh, that's good blog material" and grab the camera. Here's some of the candid shots we've caught in the past week:
I stashed Alli in the princess tent while she was napping because Jess never goes in it... and Bunker stood guard.
Jessica has to sample all of Allison's things for herself. Here she is sampling the black Momba.
And the floor gym.
Here's a video of the girls in the floor gym.
Here's a video of the girls playing in the leaves before Jess discovered the brown chalk and we had to go inside. (Don't worry Mooma, I don't think she sampled the brown chalk and I washed her hands really well.)

Here's a video of Jessica sampling Alli's portable swing. I got it out because I was going to get rid of it but I might just keep it around for a little while after seeing J's reaction.
We had a play date with Ella yesterday. It was fun drawing with chalk. Yep, that's my little girl eating the chalk. She had to sample all of the different colors to make sure they didn't taste different. I just hope she didn't sample the brown chalk she found, courtesy of Bunker.
