GO SPURS GO
Joe took me to my first Spurs game at the AT&T Center on Sunday night. Spurs Basketball is sacred here in San Antonio so it was quite an experience. Joe's buddy from work got a killer deal on these seats, they were only 21 rows up and you can see that we had a great view from the picture below. I felt like I was rich and famous. It was a close game against the Dallas Mavericks and the energy was intense. Joe kept taunting a Mavericks fan that was sitting a few rows in front of us... Karma missed Joe and struck me when the drunk behind us spilled his beer on my head.
We didn't get that many pictures at the game because we were too wrapped up in all the excitement to even think about pictures. I have to show off a really awesome present that my brother and his girlfriend sent us so here are some pictures of the tie-dye outfits that they hand made for Jessie Bean:

On Sunday morning Joe and I went to church so I figured I would sneek in a picture while I was all dressed up. You can see that our hummingbird/butterfly garden is really taking off. My dad and his wife got me this dress when I was in Cali, it is super comfortable.
I thought I would share my egg art with my blog buddies. When I hard boil eggs I like to make faces on them so I can tell them apart from the raw ones.
It's fun to crack and peel them when they have faces on them. Hee hee.

Hodgepodge
Here's a picture of me and Joe at our Prenatal Appointment last Friday. We are in a group with other expecting couples around the same gestation so we have to wear name tags. Everyone was excited when they saw Joe in his flight suit (I know how they feel).
Yesterday we went for a 30wk ultrasound and the technician estimated Jessica's weight around 3lb 13oz... the upper limit of normal. They are going to have me go back in a few weeks to make sure she isn't getting too big. I guess I am going to be a big baby breeder like my momma. I am right on track with MY weight gain although I do have to watch those cravings.
Here's a model of a 30 week Fetus so you can picture JessieBean a little better.
Here's my newborn picture:
And Joe's Newborn picture:
Sorry the newborn pictures are blurry. I am going to try to do a better blog of Joe and I as babies a little later. Joe wants everyone to pick a date that they think Jessica will arrive. Joe picked June 29 and his sister, Megan, thinks June 20. I think it will be July 2nd. So make your predictions and let us know what you think.
This is another view of the nursery with the ladder bookshelf that will hold all the books that Joe will be reading to Jessica.

Little Fashionista
I just had to post another blog on Jessica's wardrobe. My little girl has more clothes than I do and she isn't even born yet. What's more, I haven't bought her a single outfit, it's all been given to us by friends and family. A HUGE thank you to all of you.
Here are some outfits that Randy and Caroline got her. (I wonder if it's just a coincidence that they are Tennessee Orange?)
Randy and Caroline have two precious little girls of their own, so they have experience in picking out girl clothes.
Jessica's first Jogging Suit! Also, Randy and Caroline.
Some of these pictures are sideways. Sorry I don't know how to turn pictures once I've loaded them onto this blog. Please bear with me I am still learning.

Brandon and Angelina gave me a big bag with tons of clothes and blankets for Jess...
Jessica is going to "Girl it Up" in these outfits! Sex and the City eat your heart out.

Belated Blog (Cali Trip)
I squeezed in one last trip to California before Jessica gets here the weekend before last (Easter weekend). I am just now blogging about it because life has just been crazy busy. Here's a picture of everyone at dinner, the little guy is my Cousin's son Colton. Watching Colton play with his Grandma and Grandpa made me just that much more excited about Jessica (if that's possible). I am sitting next to Angelina and she is married to my cousin Brandon (with the hat), we call them Brangelina, hee hee. My little brother and his girlfriend Shawna are sitting across from me. I got to see their house in Chico during my visit and it was really cool, nice find guys.
I think it is fairly obvious that grandpa Rick is wrapped around Colton's little pinky in this picture.
I think my baby girl knows the sound of my mom's voice after this visit. Jessica showed off her kicking abilities for Grandma Mo Mo. I can't wait to see how they interact in a couple months!

Window Into My Womb
On Friday April 2nd, we got a sneak preview of our daughter and I am hooked. We got a 3D ultrasound done and it was amazing. Here are some pictures. I will post a couple short video clips later when I get some time. We'll start the slide show with your classic 2D profile picture...
The Amber colored pictures are 3D. We found out that our little girl is just as interested in herself as we are. She was feeling her face and feet and, well, everything while we watched in amazement. Here you can see her left hand grabbing her right big toe... she pulled it back and let go and created a sling-shot effect that I definitely felt. I was wondering how such a tiny little person could kick with such impact... now I know. BTW she is just over 27 weeks and weighs a whopping 2lbs 10 oz. The ultrasound technician said she would probably weigh over 8lbs at birth. OUCH!!!
Jessica Quinn Haggerty... 2 s, 2 n, and 2 g's ( I just realized that). She reminded me of a little squirrel, the way she kept nuzzling her face into her hands.
Here's a pretty good picture of her little hand. Joe counted the fingers and toes.
She is definitely a girl and already acting like a lady (she had her legs crossed in both the 20wk and 27wk ultrasounds we've had).
Here's our little beauty, don't be fooled by the peaceful look and the closed eyes, she is moving around constantly even though her eyes are closed.
Here's a good look at her little face, it was hard to get her to move those little squirrel hands away from her face.
We welcome input on what features you think she got from me and which ones she got from Joe. Do remember that some of the features are a little distorted because she is submersed in water and they are using sound waves to create a graphic representation. We won't tell you who we think she looks like because we don't want to influence your opinion in any way. :)
She wouldn't let us see her ears so they are going to remain a mystery until birth I guess. She does have a little bit of fuzzy hair on her head.
I will try to post those videos soon, I know you just can't wait to see this little spitfire in action.
