Vols play the Bulldogs.

We went by Petland yesterday and played with this cute little puppy for a while.
And the next day Joe's team played the Bulldogs.

This one's for daddy...Go Vols!

Busy Bees

Lately I can't help but sit back and watch my busy little bees.  They play constantly and it is fascinating.  Who needs hobbies or television when you have these two to keep you entertained?  I've posted a few pictures and videos here but this blog really doesn't come close to the hilarious chaotic reality that is daily life for us...

I snapped a picture just as Allison was throwing a green ring in the air.
This is the face she makes when she is growling and I think she was playing peekaboo too.
Yep, that is my video camera she has in her hand and a guilty look on her face.
Allison looks forward to playing with her daddy.  Anytime something pleases her she claps.

Jessica found her daddy's sweatband and decided to model it.
Playing in the princess tent.
We went to a birthday party at the bowling alley.  Here is Jessica with her friends Lily and Lucy.
Jessica smashed her fingers in the balls twice.
She wasn't very into bowling, instead she rocked out to the hip music they were playing. (Even in the midst of all this fun she looked up at me and said, "I go Nathan and Kathryn's house".  She asked to go there several times a day.)
Allison is modeling her new pink shoes.  She is wearing a size 5 wide!
Jessica is playing with her new play dough animal stencils.
The girls were playing jungle animals under the dining room table.  They were both growling.  I am not sure if Alli knew she was pretending to be an animal but she was growling right along with Jessica.

Jessica likes to line up the animal magnets on the fridge in a "choo choo train" and Allison likes to pull them all down (sometimes that makes Jess a little upset...).
Allison usually gets to enjoy any treat that Jessica gets these days (or I hear about it!)  They were enjoying a red ice pop because that is the color Jessica picked.
Allison is watching intently as Jessica tries to push the ice pop up all by herself.

We took a walk to the beach and then A&W the other night.  Jessica likes to pet Allison on the head or hold her hand during walks.

After we were done eating dinner I treated the girls to a soft serve cone.  Allison was having a hard time sharing with mommy and big sister.

New Developments

Allison fell asleep on our walk to the A&W so she missed out on the Hi-C and french fries.
Here is a picture of Jessica right before we left for her first day back at playschool.
Allison has decided to skip the baby food, for the most part, and go straight for the finger foods.  I guess I figured she was ready for it after Jessica snuck some goldfish into baby sister's mouth and Allison managed to swallow a few small bugs she found on the ground before I could scoop them out of her mouth.   Here she is eating Cheerios.

I have to keep the gate closed for Allison now, her purpose in life is climbing the stairs and she has absolutely no fear.
Jessica loves to share everything with baby sister, even her special treat suckers.  I caught her sharing during a walk the other day and I said, "Jessica, WHAT are you doing?!" because I didn't want her to share... she yelled back, "I TAKING TURNS!"  So I got out my video camera.
I got another video of the girls sharing a sucker.  I like how Jessica sticks the pacifier back in Allison's mouth after she takes the sucker out.

Allison walks along furniture now and she claps her hands when something pleases her.  Alison's favorite food is Avocado but she also enjoys, yogurt, tuna with mayo, baked beans, little crunchies, goldfish, honey nut cheerios and anything that mommy or sissy is eating (as long as it's not chokable).

Meema and Grandad's Last Day

It was really hard for Meema and Jessica to say goodbye this time.  Meema took every opportunity she could to snuggle her two precious granddaughters.

We ate dinner at Sunset Grille the night before they left, it has a new playground with jet ski's and sand.
We tried helping Jessica ride her bike but it wasn't very much fun because it was too hot outside...
so we switched to the wagon...

and then Jessica switched to the Meema.

Allison enjoys the wagon even if she is all by herself.

Park, Pet Store and Train Day

We took the girls out to a fun day on the town during Meema and Grandad's visit.  We managed to squeeze in the park, pet store and train at the mall all in the same morning.

Jessica is a daredevil on the swings, she loves to go high.

Allison likes the swings too.

Jessica didn't want daddy on the bee with her.
She told him to get off, that's how he ended up on the lady bug.

Meema was allowed on the bee.
Joe complained about being sick for an hour after getting off this tire swing.
Jessica became obsessed with this little baby squirrel she found in a bird house.  She was really upset that she couldn't climb up and grab it.

We took Jessica to the mall to ride the choo choo and she had a ton of fun sitting in it... until it started moving and she realized mommy and daddy might get left behind.  She kinda freaked and we had to stop the train... it wasn't the first time I've stopped a train and it probably won't be the last...

There is a really neat pet store that I take the girls to on rainy/hot days.  You can pick out one of their dozens of puppies and sit one of six cubicles and play with the puppies as long as you want.  We picked a yorkie this time.  I won't pick another yorkie again though, a little too fragile for Jessica.  The pet store has lots of other animals besides dogs and it is a whole lot cheaper than going to the zoo.
We officially have over ten thousand views on our blog now and this is post number two sixty-eight.

Finger Paints and Clean Up

We broke out the finger paints after dinner one night.  It is one of the girls' favorite things to do (probably because it makes a huge mess for mommy).  Jessica likes to talk about what she is painting and Allison quietly works on her masterpiece.

There is always a bath following the finger paints.  Jessica helps clean her little sister up even though Alli does a pretty good job of it herself by splashing.

(These two videos in the tub are the best part of this blog post, very cute.)

Jessica helps me with laundry when I have time.  But, this load was completely her idea.
We took the girls to McDonalds one day and ate inside (we usually eat in the spaceship).
