Lady and cousin Kathryn gave us a warm welcome.
Lady got to hold both of her beautiful granddaughters in her lap as they got reacquainted with each other.
I LOVE this picture of Jess and Kat.
As you can see: there was a gigantic pile of presents under, around and practically on top of the Christmas tree!
Kathryn was generous with her fingers, since she saw that Jessica liked stuffing her own fingers in her mouth. Someone said, "No, no, no"...
Then Kathryn was like, "What's the big deal? She liked it!"
So then it was Uncle Joe's turn for Kathryn's fingers in the face.
Mace was Aunt Megan's practice child just like Pinkerton was mine.
Uncle Joe brought a gingerbread house to Aunt Megan's house so he could have Nathan help him build it. It kept them both amused for quite a while.
Nathan was caught picking the decorations off and eating them although he really didn't care if we caught him.

Later that evening I walked by and noticed that Nathan had placed his Little People Nativity set people on the doorstep of the gingerbread house. Baby Jesus joined the party later.
Jessica soon found out that when ever Paw Paw is in the room it means that it's PLAY TIME!
It was wonderful to hear all three of the Haggerty grandchildren squealing with delight as Paw Paw tickled their funny bones.
Jessica discovered that she really likes chewing on fake food.
Jessica flew in for an aerial assault when Kathryn wasn't looking.

Cousin Nate is very gentle with Jess. He was laying next to her in the family room saying that she had beautiful eyes and soft hair... it was the cutest thing ever.
Nathan played cook for Jessica and she ate her miniature fake corn at the miniature table happily.
It pleased Nathan that she appreciated his cooking.

Kathryn was very intrigued by Jessica's new chair. 
Later on Kathryn put the chairs side by side and climbed back and forth between them. It was a most splendid game.
We thought it would be really cute to get a picture of all three kids sitting in their chairs together and we gave it our very best effort to get the shot, so here's what we came up with:
Lady made matching Christmas outfits for her grandchildren. And we tried to get a good picture with them in their Christmas outfits too...
This might be the best one.
We tried to put shoes on Jess for the photo but she has become quite the Houdini with her shoes off.
Don't worry, she shared with Kathryn and let her chew on the shoe as well.
I had this cute little elf outfit for Jess and she wore it well. (The hats says, "Elf in Training")
There was a lot of eating going on over this weekend. Jessica tried prunes for the first time (she needed them because her face turned a red color I had never seen before and it scared me, then I realized she was just pushing really hard).
The kids all sat down for an mid-morning brunch together.
We had every dish imaginable for our Christmas dinner. I loved the Turkey, thanks Steve.
