California Wrap Up

Life is finally settling down after our move to Las Vegas.  I now have a minute or two, during nap time, to catch up on my blogs.  Here are some of the last things we did in California before we moved.

Jessica discovered the joy of wrapping a towel on her head after a shower.
Here's a video.

Jessica had a strange sore on her neck and we were prepared for the worst.  We were so relieved when it turned out to be an irritated wart.  That made perfect sense too, I had more warts than I could count when I was younger and my little clone appears to have my skin as well, poor baby.  But, we managed to have a good time at the dermatologist anyway.

We went to Book Family Farm with our Chico Mom's group.  The girls really got to see the life cycle of the chicken and we all got to hang out with our friends one last time.

The girls are very busy educating daddy on all things MLP and Frozen.

In addition to Elsa and Princess Luna, Jessica also likes to play Rapunzel and Merida.

We went to the Chico Mall to meet the Easter Bunny.
Allison pushed the Easter bunny away.
She wasn't sure about that giant bunny.
I don't know how I managed to get an decent picture.

Here's a video of the shenanigans.

The Oak Meadows apartments hosted an Easter party.  They had face painting.

Here are some videos of the Easter Egg hunt.

With their blood sugar spiked, the girls played out the scene in the beginning of frozen where Anna wakes up Elsa, they play in the snow and then Elsa accidentally strikes Anna.  See the video.

We finally made it out to the Thursday Night Farmers' Market in downtown Chico (two days before we left!).

Here's a video of Jessica going down the bouncy slide yelling, "blast off!"
Allison went down the slide also but I wasn't quick enough to get a video.

This last video is going to make Meema and Grandad sad.  This was the last time we played in Meema and Grandad's back yard.

Looked like a whole lot of fun in that last week ! Loved the videos, the one with all the girls on the porch was really cute. I am glad it was just a wart. Thank you for the new blog.

Thank you, I loved this blog. I was laughing out loud at the towelhead video, Jessica is so funny! I wish I was there for every adventure, I hate missing out (though I'm sure your little family is grateful for time amongst just yourselves), and I miss you all so much. I knew exactly how Allison would be with the chickens, but I would have thought she MIGHT have felt more warm and fuzzy about the chicks! She is in NO hurry to touch all those animals! The Elsa/Anna scene was perfect! They are both such great actresses! It was so precious! The last scene did make me sad, I am missing the girls so. I remembered how good it felt to sweep Jessica up in my arms and carry her to "safety." I want to hug and hold them all I can until they grow too big and busy to be bothered with me!

Thank you for the California blog. The little girls look cute sitting on the porch.
A new chapter in their young lives is beginning for them.
