We spent last weekend up in Montgomery to attend Paw Paw's 60th birthday party. Jessica was glad to see her family but she was more excited to see Mace. We've known she is an animal lover by the way she is enamored with our cats, but seeing Mace took it to a whole different level. She didn't give anyone else any attention if he was anywhere to be seen. She just giggled nonstop.

We spent most of Saturday playing bean bag toss (officially known as Cornhole) and it was extremely fun and addictive. Jessica had fun sitting in the shade and watching, or not watching.
After the sun went down, we headed back inside so Paw Paw could open his presents. It was pretty funny watching Jessica and Kathryn grabbing at each others shoes and pretty much anything the other one had.
Nathan was busy opening Paw Paw's present... he is the official present opener of the family.
Jessica got Paw Paw a card, but then she saw it and wanted to eat it.
We slept well on Saturday night. Then on Sunday we headed back out to the backyard for some family pictures. It was a beautiful day... except for the wind.
I love the way these trees look in the spring, although we found out that they kinda stink.
