Remember the Alamo
We said there wouldn't be anymore Texas posts but then Joe realized we almost made a huge blunder. Jessica has lived 20 miles from downtown San Antonio for the first five months of her life but has yet to visit Texas' most famous site, The Alamo. Being such a history buff, Joe said it would be unacceptable for Jessica to miss out on the opportunity. Apparently it was even more important than watching the Vols' game on TV because we made the trek in the middle of a busy college football Saturday. Even though little Jessica will not remember going, she'll always have this picture to prove she did what every native Texan should do.

Oh so true Jessica HAD to visit the Alamo! And as always when riding in the front loader, she looks SO content with the world. What a beautiful day it was too.
That is funny.... and at such a sacrifice. Just part of putting Jessica's needs before his own. That is an important landmark. Nice picture of Daddy and his little girl.
