Grandpa took us to the zoo in Sacramento. It was small but fun. Jessica loves ducks so she was distracted by a couple of ducks when we first walked in. The tiger was the coolest part for me. Jessica was a little horrified by the orangutans and every bird she saw was a duck, even the flamingos were ducks.

It is so neat to watch her taking in everything with those fresh eyes. She makes me see the wonder in the simple things. I was happy that she liked that zoo. I look forward to taking her to a bigger one someday.
